Slammin' the Sun Down is
the West Suburban Regional Competition for the Louder Than a Bomb Poetry Festival (trailer for the documentary featured here). It is going to be held next Saturday, January 12th at West Chicago High School (my very own town!). Details can be found at their Facebook page (public page)
and you can also visit the site for the Teen Writers and Artists Project. And if you writerly and creative types would like a little help honing those resolutions for the year, this should get your juices flowing.
I'm looking forward to being a judge on Saturday at the Louder Than A Bomb competition. Never done that before. All that young energy and talent.

I'm definitely going but will only judge if she absolutely needs to fill one more spot. I just don't know that I can judge but that being said, I am SO glad you are going to. It sounds awesome.
