For those of you who didn't catch Kevin's comment on this post, I just have to put this on your radar screen with a big thanks to Kevin because this guy's story is just so dang heartwarming. David Johnson basically spent many years interviewing people that he randomly chose out of a phone book (after he got encouragement to do so from Charles Kuralt) and then featured their stories in the local paper. I have to get the book after reading this NYTimes article on him. The book, named after the feature series Everyone Has a Story is hard to find. They have one copy at Amazon and one "Best of...". They had two but I got one of them.
Can I be first on the list to borrow it when after you have read it?

In addition, please be aware of storycorps.org. Again proving that people are full of storys.

A few years ago storycorps.org published a book, "Listening is an Act of Love." Well worth anybody's time.

Kevin, yes, definitely. And Frank and P, thanks for getting storycorp up here, too. And you've got me thinking about The Moth, too. Man, just left and right, it's so rich. And P, I swear, you have to check out Louder than a Bomb. Oak Park represents. Yow.
