I got to meet this beautiful beam of light today. Adam Gottlieb was one of the hosts for Slammin' the Sun Down. What a spark he has. Gives me hope for the future. And the event was inspiring. Some of the kids have been invited to speak at a future Waterline event so you'll get another chance to see them if you couldn't make it out to West Chicago today.
Wow.
Eager to see some of these kids, including Adam, I hope, at WLW.
Wow.
Thanks for posting this.

I don't think Adam is going to be at WLW. He was hosting the slam (this video is of him in 2008). The kids that will be there are the two kids that tied for first place at the slam and a third that was selected as Judges Choice. At least two of them were from middle school (and don't worry, these were not poems about My Little Pony), maybe all three were. It was an outstanding event.

Great! If there were ever a way to have him come to WLW, that would be awesome. Give him the whole night, man. I just love this kid. (Young man, sorry.)

I believe I will start each day by listening to Adam do Poet Breathe Now.
