Word I'm getting is that the number of artists participating has doubled and many more venues have been added!
It is my pleasure to be presenting my work again at the 2nd Miller Beach Arts & Creative District Pop Up Gallery Night. (Different works from the first event.)
Do you have to be from Miller and the surrounding area to attend? Of course not! If you want to see first hand what a community of artists can do to breath life into a town that hasn't had any for a very long time, hop on the South Shore train and get off at the Miller Beach Station. The venues begin at the Dance Academy located just to the north side of the tracks (a historic two story red brick building on the right side of the street, you can't miss it, right across from Centier Bank). That is where I was located the first time and I'm getting informal word that I will be in the same space again. From there the venue stretches a few blocks north, through the downtown area. The former Miller Drugs building will be the event's central location, other venues include Miller Pizza, the former Miller Bakery Cafe and even Chapel of the Dunes (where I went to first grade since St. Mary's of the Lake only started at second grade all those years ago).
This event will also be featuring work of art students and teachers. Do not miss the Dance Academy (whether I am in that building or not). Help spread the word!
