ALL IS WELL
Drawing Wisdom from the Well of Grief and Joy
All is Well..........
The title cover of Laura's inspiring and beautifully bound book, "All is Well," along with its contents of brilliant and contemplative photographs depicting all forms of nature captured with the lens of her eye, and so eloquently matched with the thoughts and sayings of many wise spiritual teachers, most assuredly captivated my heart and soul in a myriad of ways.
This is a book to keep close and look at frequently, for each page reflected on becomes a meditation in progress.  As the journey unfolds with the pages slowly being turned, and the beauty and healing properties of the pictures displayed of the moon, sky, flowers, mountains, statues, grapes, rocks, insects, beads, water, birds, human, metal and wood, one can feel the pure essence of each imbued on many levels.
The entrance to this book begins with one focusing on a picture of a heart shaped keyhole with the wise words, "Remain open," reminding us how to navigate through the waters of our creation. It closes with, "Preach always, use words if you must," recognizing that to reach out as found in the word preach, most assuredly will bless the lives of many.  Laura's open heart expressed exquisitely in this book compilation and obviously done with great Love, has touched me deeply and "All IS Well."
~Kristie Floyd
"Remain open." So reads the first page of All Is Well. As often as I open the book, and opening it in a quiet moment has become a ritual for me, I start on that first page. Remain open, I read, then I close and reopen the book, randomly, prepared to savor what it chooses to offer me today. Prepared to dive headfirst into the day's photograph while I silently note how it has morphed, magically, on Laura's pages since my last visit. This is a book that calls you to  "love the questions". To welcome every guest life offers, to borrow Rumi's words.
I've already had one houseguest miss a night's sleep blissfully lost in the pages of Laura's book, serendipitously picked up from the bookshelf in the guestroom.
All Is well deftly weaves wisdom from far ranging sources and stirring, evocative photographs into a whole that is never the same for me twice and I doubt will be the same for any two readers. All's well is comforting, inspiring, enlightening, uplifting and reflective. It is, in a word, resonant. All's well is a rich, round chord of a book that echos within long after you've set it down. It is a book to return to.
All Is Well has become, for me,  a welcome invitation to slow down for a moment, breath deeply, and remain open.
~Erin Corcoran
When this book first arrived, I read it straight through and loved it immediately. But now, I pick it up often, open it at random and savor what I find there. The pictures are great; the quotes are wonderful. I may lose myself for moments in either one. But the real power, for me, is in the magical synchronicity of the combinations of word & image. I know it was a labor of love; the evidence is on every page. ~Kate Winner
