I have to say, though, Tom Cruise's movie version of War of the Worlds just didn't seem the same without the Ulla chorus of the martians ("ooh laa") and the haunting refrain of The Spirit of Man's "No Nathaniel No" in the only true version of this story. What? No idea what I am talking about? It's none other than Jeff Wayne's Musical Version Of The War Of The Worlds as narrated by Richard Burton which we heard for hours upon hours growing up. Scott has never developed an appreciation for this phenomenal display of artistry. Check it out, dudes.
